About Us

Tom Neely is a painter, cartoonist, and animator living in Los Angeles. While getting an MFA in painting from the San Francisco Art Institute, he decided he didn’t like the conceptual irony of the so-called “Fine Arts World.” He decided to give commercial art a shot and got a job at Disney for a couple of years. One day he scrawled “I love forced corporate fun!” with a sharpie marker on his t-shirt and went to an office party. He was told that he had an attitude problem. He then realized that he would rather spend half the day in his pajamas drawing comics and went home. Now he's a freelance artist. His work has been featured in galleries in San Francisco and Los Angeles, magazines, literary journals, on album covers, rock posters and self-published comics. He is currently working on his first graphic novel and new paintings for an upcoming solo show. He likes playing his banjo, watching cartoons, and rollerskating- but not all at the same time. Greg Saunders is a freelance writer. By "freelance" he means that he isn't making any money doing it. Until he gets hired by the New York Times to complain about politics or Rolling Stone to tell you why your favorite band sucks, he writes for free at his weblog The Talent Show. After he dies, his posts will be collected into a leatherbound volume entitled "The Inane Ramblings of a Dead Person". Some of the topics in the forethcoming tome will include "Why Jesus had more to say about compassion for the poor than stem-cell research", "Bush's guide to appeasing racists without being labeled one", and "Ronald Reagan's corpse just told me we should cut taxes for the rich again". When he's not padding his resume with stupid jokes, Greg can be reached at waltisfrozen@gmail.com.
